The Female connector found on both ends of the adaptor is called the Belling‑Lee connector, also officially known as IEC 61169‑2 Type 9.52. It's commonly referred to as a PAL connector, TV aerial connector, or simply an aerial plug. It connects simply by pushing a male plug into the female socket with a snug friction fit.
