Turn your computer into a software defined radio receiver and explore FM radio, airband, marine VHF and other signals with compatible SDR software and a suitable antenna.

This USB receiver combines the Realtek RTL2832U demodulator with a Fitipower FC0012 tuner, making it suitable for radio listening, signal exploration and supported digital decoding applications.

The FC0012 offers a typical SDR tuning range of approximately 22–948.6 MHz. The RTL2832U outputs 8-bit I/Q samples, with a maximum theoretical sample rate of 3.2 MS/s. Lower sample rates may be required to avoid dropped samples, depending on the computer and USB connection. Actual frequency coverage depends on the software and receiver implementation.

Applications

  • FM broadcast radio.
  • Aircraft voice communications within the airband.
  • Marine VHF radio and AIS decoding.
  • Amateur radio reception within the supported frequency range.
  • Compatible wireless sensor and remote-control signals.
  • Learning about radio signals and SDR software.

Reception and decoding depend on the antenna, available signals and software used.
