QUESTIONS & ANSWERSAsk a Question
Hi, we have a Sanyo TV model LCD-39XZ12F that has a coaxial SPDIF connector. We want to connect this to my Phonak TV connector which transmits audio via blue tooth to her hearing aids. The Phonak TV connector uses a Toslink cable. Will the TX586 MINI MALE TO FEMALE S/PDIF TOSLINK FIBRE OPTIC AUDIO CONNECTOR ADAPTER CONVERTER as on your website allow us to connect this adapter into the TV SPDIF coaxial connector, then the Toslink connector between the adaptor plug and the Phonak TV Connector. Is there any way of using this coaxial SPDIF connector on the TV to also send audio to an external home theatre setup while still being able to connect the Phonak TV hearing aid setup? Hoping you can help.
Hi. Thanks for getting in touch and the opportunity to help.
Our Male 3.5mm mini-TOSLINK to Standard Female TOSLINK SPDIF Adapter enables standard-size Toslink cables to connect to the smaller, 3.5mm mini-TOSLINK sockets, as described in the Phonak TV Connector User Guide: https://www.phonak.com/content/dam/phonak/HQ/en/solution/accessories/phonak_tv_connector/documents/user_guide_tv_connector_029-0737.pdf
To split the audio from your source, the TV, to two other devices, a Toslink splitter can be used between the home theatre setup and Phonak TV hearing aid setup. Please refer to https://www.techexpress.co.nz/products/toslink-splitter
We also carry a wide range of Toslink cables. Please refer to https://www.techexpress.co.nz/pages/search-results-page?q=toslink+cable&tab=products&sort_by=price&sort_order=asc&page=1
For assurance, we also offer a 14-day 'trial and return for refund less shipping fee' service to enable compatibility testing with your equipment.
If you have any questions, or if there is any other way I can help, please don't hesitate to ask.
