This RS232 Shield For Arduino is designed for the Arduino controller,and it can easily convert UART to RS232 interface.
The MAX3232 RS232 Shield is a device that provides an interface between an Arduino development board and a serial device (such as a computer) using the RS232 serial protocol. It contains a MAX3232 integrated circuit, which is a transceiver that converts the TTL/CMOS levels used by the Arduino to the voltage levels required for RS232 communication, and vice versa. By using this shield, an Arduino can communicate with a serial device using the RS232 protocol, making it useful for a variety of applications, such as communicating with a computer or other microcontroller, or connecting to sensors or other devices that use RS232 communication.
The RS232 shield integrates DB9 connectors (female) that provide connection to various devices with RS232 interface. Also the RS232 shield headers will facilitate your connections and commissioning.
