The GBS-8100 VGA to CGA RGBS/CVBS/S-VIDEO Converter is also known as a VGA to CGA adapter, arcade video converter, retro monitor adapter, RGBS converter, CRT adapter, video signal converter. It can convert a VGA input signal to CGA, Composite and S-Video component signals.
While labelled "VGA to CGA", the 'CGA' output from the GBS-8100 is technically 15KHz RGBS video, which is the standard signal type used by most classic arcade game boards (JAMMA). This is why it's so favoured for arcade projects!
