50-pin CompactFlash (CF) to 1.8" IDE Adapter
PRODUCT CODE: 50PIN-CF-TO-IDE-NZ50-pin CompactFlash (CF) to 1.8" IDE Adapter.
The 50-pin CompactFlash (CF) to 1.8" IDE Adapter is a versatile hardware converter that allows CompactFlash storage cards to interface with devices using a 1.8-inch IDE connector.
The 50-pin CompactFlash (CF) to 1.8" IDE Adapter is also known as a CF to IDE converter, CompactFlash to IDE adapter, or IDE-CF card reader.
This adapter includes jumper pins that allow you to set the CF card's mode to either "Master" or "Slave." For most applications, including replacing the hard drive in an Apple iPod or iRiver iHP-120, the adapter should be set to "Master" mode. This configuration ensures proper communication between the CF card and the device.
Compatibility: The 50-pin CompactFlash (CF) to 1.8" IDE Adapter is designed to work with most systems that support CompactFlash cards or 1.8" IDE connections. Compatible systems include legacy PCs, embedded systems, industrial machines, and some development boards. While unfamiliar with your devices, we offer a 14-day 'trial and return for refund less shipping fee' service to enable testing in your environment with your equipment.

Installation Hints, Tips and Troubleshooting:
Please be advised that any alterations or modifications of the HXSP-09CF69 CF to 1.8" IDE adapter will void the warranty. Such actions may also lead to potential damage or risk to the device.
If installed in a 4th generation Apple iPod Classic, some users warned of the jumper pins inhibiting installation or putting strain on the display. It is suggested to reform (bend) the jumper pins so that they lay flat against the PCB, or desolder, remove and add a solder bridge if necessary.
Always ensure that the jumper is correctly configured for your specific application and that any physical adjustments do not interfere with other components.
