Q. Does this work for the Nintendo Wii, has it been tried?
A. We have connected the converter to our Nintendo Wii and to it works successfully. The unit is powered directly from the Wii's rear USB port or an optional Wall Wort if prefered. The USB power supply cable is included. Both stereo sound and image quality is good.
Q. Can the AV to HDMI converter convert Audio with no video being connected or inputted?
A. Yes, the AV to HDMI converter can convert just the audio into the HDMI output with no video source input connected. We have configured the AV to HDMI converter as per your question to test. When the Yellow RCA video connector was removed, the sound continued on our HDMI television. This means that the AV to HDMI converter can also act as a low-cost HDMI audio embedder. An HDMI audio embedder is also known as a HDMI audio injector or HDMI audio inserter. Please note, that the AV to HDMI converter may not work with all devices. Hi I asked a question on your other auction and think this is what I need to connect my combo dvd/vcr player to a LG smart TV with only HDMI outlets at the back do you plug it into the mains and will it show on the menu on the bottom of a LG TV as AV I need the yellow connection you are so helpful many thanks.
