QUESTIONS & ANSWERSAsk a Question
I\'ve got my stereo running inside a cupboard and wondering if the Bluetooth receiver will work through it?
Hi. That's an excellent question. This Bluetooth 4.1 adapter has an indoor range of 10 Meters. In theory, radio signals work at the absolute best when an unimpaired line-of-sight is available. We offer a 14-day 'trial and return for refund less shipping fee' service to enable testing with your cupboard, equipment and environment.
Can these units be used while being charged?
Hi. Thanks for your question. Yes, this Bluetooth 4.1 transmitter/receiver adapter can be used while charging. They are designed so that you can optionally leave the USB cable connected indefinitely.
Hi there, If you have 2 of these units, can you "pair" them talk to each other? I want to play DVD's through my laptop onto my TV, I only have a VGA cable connection on the laptop, so no sound to the TV. Can I set up one of these BTI -029's to the laptop to pick up the sound, transmit sound to the second BTI -029 that then optical cables into the sound system? Thank you. Grant.
Hi. Thanks for your question. Yes, you can transmit audio from one adapter to another. A: Connect the supplied 3.5mm audio cable between the laptop and the adapter and then switch the adapter to transmit-mode. B: Then connect the other adapter via an optical cable to the TV, switch the adapter to receive-mode. C: Pair the two Bluetooth adapters.
The question may be, will your model TV output sound from the optical input whilst in VGA or PC input mode. You could connect the 3.5mm audio cable into the TV. We offer a 14 day, 'trial and return for refund' service excluding shipping fees, to enable compatibility testing with your equipment in your environment. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
